Whimsy Challenge Paper piecing

Welcome girls we have a fab challenge over at Whimsy Stamps Challenge blog and the topic this week is

Paper Piecing

So this is my card for this challenge I used the digi papers that I used for the card on her top and trousers, the image is called nose to nose available here and is by Crissy's digis at whimsy stamps

The flowers I made with Tammys EZshapes Flower swirl available here at whimsy's they are fab to use and so easy.

The digi paper is from the paper Shelter and I coloured the image with copics and prisma pencils. The vine is from Whimsy stamps and so is the the ticket stamp and die by Rainbow Echoes Designs for Whimsy stamps, I love them. I distressed all the edges and then added some stickles and distress inks to the flowers, the ribbon is from my stash and the bead charm is from Hobbycraft. pop along to the challenge blog to check out my other teamies cards

Whimsy Stamps inspiration Card Monochromatic

Hi all today I am bring you an inspiration Wednesday card for Whimsy Stamps the theme for their challenge this week is Monochromatic, now when I normally do this type of card I normally do the usual black and white

but today i decided to use white and a different colour which was purple I hope this looks ok I was went for a more simple look

The image I used is called Loopy Heart by Moon Cookie Gallery at Whimsy Stamps and is available here

I had a play with this image in word and although I didn't change anything about the image due to copyright I wouldn't do that anyway, but I changed it to a negative image and fill with the soft purple so the image printed out with the image in white the background purple I sort of found it while trying to figure out how to change the back ground of a clear image white so it doesn't print out the pixels lol. Any way once I had printed it out I just added some highlights so it wasn't so flat I used a white, a very light lilac and a med purple Prisma pencils and blended them together a little I love the effect I do hope you can see it ok.

I used an embossing folder to make the background but used the inverted side A bow from the ribbon girl was added along with a pearl pin again from the ribbon girl and the flowers are from mulberry crafts, The lacy scrim which is lush in the flesh is white with bits of glitter in it and is from Paper Arts. The Sentiment is from Cuddly buddly which I matted onto matching card

I also added a few sparkly gems I coloured with a purple copic.

To finish I just want to show you what I had delivered this week

I coloured this image with my new 2012 limited addition Promarkers I love them to and Prisma Pencils.

For the make your own background theme I thought well this was very simple, I used an embossing folder and then inked it up with pale blue distress inks so easy but very effective.

The lace is from Bee Habby and the flowers are from Mulberry Crafts I added a feather from my stash

the ribbon is from Ribbon girl, the sentiment is from Cuddly Buddly.To finish I added some blue gems to the right top and bottom.

Karen Middleton Sweet hearts Collection release

Hi my little crafty buddies today I want to show you two cards I made with the new cute release

from Karen Middleton over at Cuddly Buddly

The first card I made is using a very cute image called Bunny bubbly and is available here

I coloured this little chap with Primsa pencils and blending stumps

The digi paper is from Cuddly Buddly to available here called Pretty Mix Pink

I used my fav core-dinatons white wash for the matting and I distress all the edges with Tim Holtz distressing tool. I used my new Marianne basket die which I loveeee its is fab I added some flowers and curled the wires stems. The Sentiment is from Bits of Ivory also from Cuddly Buddly available here. To finish off I added some pink pearl gems to the corners.

For Second card the image I used is called Kitty Post available here

Again I coloured the image with Prisma Pencils and blending stumps the digi paper is from Cuddly Buddly Pretty mix in green available here the sentiment is of the same Bits of Ivory sentiment sheet the flowers are from Mulberry Crafts I edged the big one with green distress inks. The white boarder die is my new one from Marianne I got from Cuddly Buddly. To finish I added some ribbon from my stash and some clear glitter gems to the bottom right hand corner although you cant really see them.

My Messy desk

I just wanted to show you a quick pic of my craft desk in full use mode lol

As you can see it is very messy at the moment and this is just part of it either side of this pic is just as messy. I always tidy my desk when I start a new project but for some reason I just make a mess and spread out the mess, everywhere even on the floor, my craft room needs a good clean at the moment and good sort out, I keep putting it off lol

I have two big drawfulls of scrap paper I need to do something with either bite the bullet and chuck it which I am not very good at or organize it and trim it to useable pieces but it takes so long lol maybe one day.

Anyway there you go wonder if you desks are as messy as mine

Whimsy Challenge Anything but a Square Card

Hi, Everyone! It's Wednesday again so that means it's time for a new challenge! Over at the Whimsy Challenge blog.

Our Topic this week is

Anything but a square card

Well you know how I like to use square cards so this one was a good one to get me out of the habit.

Don't forget! You don't have to use a whimsy image. It would be great if you did though, and it doesn't have to be a card. Whimsy's welcome all paper projects.

So Onto my card for the challenge

I have done a card like this before and love the layout I used scalloped and circle spellbinders for the whole card the image is This is a hug available here from Whimsy and a cutie he is, also whimsy is having a sale at the moment on there Digital Stamps so pop over and grab bargin.

I coloured this card with Prisma Pencils and blending stumps I wanted to give this image a soft look hope I did that. All the papers are Digital and are from paper shelter I inked all the edges with distress inks pumice stone. The rosettes are made with the Tim Holts Rosette dies.

To finish off I added some pearl gems to the center of the rosettes

Truly Scrumptious Challenge Card All Creatures Great and Small

Hi all this is my second post for today and it is for the Fab Truly Scrumptious Challenge and today our theme is All Creatures Great and Small

For this challenge we got to play with some lovely lili of the Valley images

I coloured this image with Prisma pencils and blending stumps
the digi paper is from the Paper Shelter. I went for a grey and black theme for the main card I used some black tarten wired ribbon edged with scollops from Bee Happy it is lush the flowers are form my stash and I added black gems to the side of the card and the top and right bottom.

I added a hanging bead to my ribbon which I got from Hobby Craft. The sentiment is also from lili of the Valley.

One stop Craft Challenge for the one I love

Hi my crafty friends before I get onto the challenge today I just wanted to share with you how cold it is at the moment in sunny not! Uk. I have a crafty shed and went into it today to do some crafting and omg my glossy accents and water spritzer where frozen solid it is brrrrr cold and we have forecast for snow.

So onto my card

The image I used is from Day for Daisys and is called Beautiful Pixie and is available here I coloured her with Prisma Pencils I used just one colour then white for blending with a little hint of purple on the flowers.

I used kraft paper for the matting and used a fab embossing folder by Coutour Creations called Tied Together which was a gift from my fabby blog friend Lorraine. I edged the paper with Tim Holtz distress ink walnut stain. I added some gauze behind the image. The flowers I inked as well then spritzed with glimmer mist and added some glammour dust for that little bit of bling . The ribbon is from my stash as are the gems to finish I added as die from Whimsy stamps which I stamped with the sentiment with love x from fizzy moon.

so there you go sorry for the not so good pic it was freezing in my shed I might go back tomorrow to take another one lol but it is toooo cold tonight brrr!!

So here is my Card for this challeng

The image I used is from the new release at Whimsy stamps, so the theme is make your own flowers, so I punched 4 desending scollop circles in coordinating paper and spritzed with glimmer mist once damp I scrunched the flowers up and added a brad to the middle then added it to my card I made a smaller one for above the bigger flower I added leaves from a punch and the sentiment it one of the new dies and stamps from Whimsy Stamps the ribbon is from my stash and the Design paper is Tim Holtz 12x12 shabby pad my fav

I added some Tim Holtzs blue distress ink to the flowers and leaves, to finish I then put some blue gems and a pale blue feather and voila hope you like.

Creative Stamp Mag and Cuddly Buddly OMG I AM published

OMG it has been a long couple of months waiting for the fab mag Creative Stamping to come out WHY you ask well if you look on page 55 its Meeeee with 3 cards usng the fab Cuddly Buddly digi images. To say I am very proud is an understatement when I went to get the mag I made the poor lady at the till wait while I unwrapped the mag and said look look that's me lol she must have thought I was a mad women, which of course I was, I have a houseful of boys who just don't get it so hadtso share with someone, if I could have stopped every person on my way home I would have, just to show them, but I refrained lol but it was soooo hard lol.

See one of my cards on the front page OMG I am so happy (sorry)lol

Any Way here are the cards that where submitted for publish.

Whimsy Stamps inspiration Card

Hi Everyone halfway through the week hope all is well with you sorry not been about much I have had a viral infection and I look like I had lumps growing out my neck as they where swollen. Anyway enough of me lol my Card to day is for inspiration Wednesday over at Whimsy stamps and also don't forget there is a new challenge starting today over at Whimsys challenge blog with the theme of Pearl and Bling.

So onto my card

This is a cute little image call Birdie Friend available here I coloured her with Copics and Prisma pencils, I made a Cross over card today using papers from magnolia and shocking pink Card stock I was going to go for a paler pink but it didnt turn out that way lol

I used a whimsy label die and the stamp is from my stash. The flowers are from mulberry crafts and the ribbon is also a stash item. To finish the insert I added pink metal works die shape.

card insert I left a space to add a fuller sentiment or verse.

I added a Martha Stewart boarder punch and placed the pink ribbon over it.

The ribbon is from the ribbon girl and is pink seam binding. The lace is from hobby craft and flower boarder is from Bee Habby.

To finish off the sentiment is from Swalk stamp set and stamped with Distress ink lipstick stain.

Whimsy Challenge use Brown and Blue on your Card

Today I have a card for you for the fab Whimsy Challenge and this challenge theme is

Blue and Brown

two of my fav colour combo's.

The digi I used is by the fab Artist Lia Stampz

and is called Molly you can get her here

For this card I used the spellbinders borderbilities for the sides of the card I have had these for a while but never used them naughty me. I coloured the image with prisma pencils The Digi paper is from Nitwits and Kraft paper is from pink pettiecoat who have a fab selection of kraft digi paper

The fence is one of the new Marianne dies that come with the little bird and birdhouse I added some white acrylic paint but for some reason it turned creamish not sure why. The tree die is from Memory box love it

The Sentiment is a whimsy sentiment set and matching die. I added some gems down the side of the card

The ribbon is from good old Hobby Craft. I stitched around the card with a combo of zigzag and straight Stitching in white cotton. To finish of I added some flowers from Mulberry Crafts.

Truly Scrumptious Challenge Card use Something forgotten

So for this challenge I had a good route around my craft room and found two sets of Spellbinders die still in the packet unopened and unused I got them last yr and never used them naughty me again.

For this card I decided not to use an image but just some flowers some lace, ribbons, gems and a sentiment

unfortunately the die I put the flowers on in 3 matted layers you can really see cause I went a bit mad with the flowers lol, but the leaf die is one of the dies I hadn't used and forgot I had. I inked the leaves sprayed the flowers with glimmer mist and sprinkled some glamor dust on them for that little but of bling shame you can really see the bling.

Cuddly Buddly Panchela Best Buddies

Today I am bringing you a fab image for Panchela Studios at Cuddly Buddly this image is called Best Buddies and is available here

Isnt it a cute image, the Design Papers are also from Cuddly Buddly and are a mixture of Karen Middleton Digi papers and Bits of Ivory Digi papers.

The dies are Mariannes with some buttons from my stash as is the blue Tulle. I also used the Tim Holtz clock die which I added some picket fence crackle paint.

The vine die is a Cherry lynne Die

Twice as nice

Today I want to show you how I made two cards with the same image and the same layout but with two different colour themes.

I got this image from The Paper Shelter it comes with an outline image and also coloured for quick cards.

I used copics for this card no design papers just embossing folders it just shows you can make an effective card with little cardstock added a bit of lace from my stash and some lilac flowers I didnt want to put to much on this card not like I normally do as wanted the image to be the focus. Sometimes simple is just as nice I used dotty embossing folder and diamond stitch. I edged the layers of my card with pumice stone distress inks. The die down each side of the card is magnolia doo hickey.

The second card is the same image but comes already pre coloured from the Paper shelter

So this card has exactly the same layout and embellishments but it looks different just by using different colours the quality of the digi is fab and prints out beautifully.

Whimsy inspiration card Little Bear Love U and new Challenge

Isn't he so cute I coloured him with Prisma Pencils and a blending stump. The Digi Design paper is from Nitwits I used the fab Marianne oval die, the vine die and heart die are from Whimsy Stamps love them. I added a bit if white lace down one side. With a touch of lilac Tulle through the whimsy heart then an organza ribbon with a lilac flower to finish off. The die flowers are from the Marianne die sets to they came with the oval die.

To finish I punched some little butterfly's with a bit lilac of stickles on them for that bit of bling along with some lilac gems along the bottom and top right corner.

Guest Designer at Colour Me Creative Challenge

Hi my Lovely followers I have been asked to join CMC Copic challenge Group for their next challenge as Guest Designer how fab is that. The Theme for this challenge is

Pink Black or White Retro

now the the Pink Black or White is easy for me, but not made many Retro Cards well one before in fact so this was a brill challenge for me to work outside my comfort zone I hope you like the card I made and it looks Retro.

and here is my card

I coloured this image with Copics and then mounted it onto black cardstock the Design paper is from my stash I have had it for a while so can't remember where I got it from, but it fitted the challenge.

The Retro Flowers where punched with circle punches then scrunched and a little brad added. I then used a whimsy Die with black card for the swirly vines.

Here is my card for this theme

So here is my card for this challenge I used an image from Krista Smith of Saturated Canary and for the paint side of the theme I used pearlised acrylic paint to my leaves, around my card, on the fence and on the flowers, The flowers are from Mulberry Crafts and the netting and ribbon is from my stash.

I used a Tim Holtz fence die which I distressed and added pearl paint and purple distress ink.

I added some white lace from Hobby Craft behind image and used one of the new doo hickey tag dies inked it then addd just for you sentiment from Stamp Addicts and finished it off with a flower charm the Design paper is from the new Magnolia papers

I got the inspiration for this card from the front cover of the new Magnolia mag I did change it around a bit to make it my own and so it was not exactly the same but the colour scheme the theme is the same I just thought the card was fab for this challenge so the credit goes to the maker of that card for the inspiration of this card although I don't know her name will try to find out.

Whimsy Stamps Challenge New Beginnings

Hi folks welcome to this weeks new Challenge over at Whimsy Stamps Challange Blog and this week the challenge theme is

New Beginnings

great for the first New yr challenge so any new baby job home anything new

for this challenge I used one of the new digi images Rag doll baby boy.

I have coloured him with copics and shadowed with polychromos pencils blended with sansador.

The Flag pendant is from Whimsy stamps dies and the new baby stamp that fits in the pendants, the buttons are a Martha Stewart Punch with some blue twine. The digi paper is from nitwits and the ribbon and gems are from my stash the flowers are from mulberry crafts.

Here is my Card for the hop

I coloured this cute image with Copic's and added shadows with polychromos pencils and blended with Sansador. The digi paper is for Pink Petticoat, which I stitched all around with white cotton with my sewing machine. The edging on the card was made with a Magnolia lace die from the new collection. The lace is from my stash as it the ribbon. The pin I got from ribbon girl and the flowers from Mulberry crafts. The Sentiment is one of the new Whimsy dies and stamp sets friends, and the new heart die with some flowers on is lovely.
To finish off I added some pink gems.

My Top 10 Favorite Cards for 2011 plus my 1st ever blog card

Today I wanted to show you my Top 10 Favorite Cards that I have made in the last yr I am also going to show you the very first picture I ever posted on my blog so you can see how my pics have improved (I hope) over the year.

lol this was the very first card I ever put on my blog in 2010 and the very first card I ever entered into a challenge which was for Pink gem challenge blog which was a sketch challenge. The image is fab but my colouring leaves a lot to be desired as does my photo skills.

I have come so far since then I am now on various DT Teams.

was the very first challenge I was excepted on and I was so proud I was jumping around the room not a good look for an lady of tender yrs lol.

This is one of my recent ones and I made this for Colour me Creative challenge I it is the first time I coloured gold colours

to end my very first card I made on my imagine and to my shame the only one oops

So that is my top ten

Christmas Day

Hi Anyone that is about on Christmas Day I don't expect anyone to be blogging but I am having a quiet moment of peace while kids are playing on the kinect they got for christmas I thought I would share some our day with you.

Well my Edd said he would cook christmas dinner this yr bless him

thing is men don't really get the quantity thing right we had 9 veg, roast potatoes Roasted Sweet potatoes, Mash potatoes 3 lots of meat beef, lamb, chicken and stuffing balls oh and not forgetting sausages wrapped in bacon we had so much left over think we will be eating bubble and Squeak for a week and bubble and squeek for those who dont know is left over meat, veg and potatoes all mixed up and fried it is very yummy lol good job really Bless him.

He also did all the washing up after as well would let me in the kitchen he said it was my day off.

sorry about the beer bottle my older kids left it there so nice of them lol

We also planted some Christmas presents around the house for him to find, loads of super Mario toys which he likes make mini movies with

Any way I hope you had a fab a day as we did have a good new yr

One Stop Craft Challenge Winter Wishes and a Merry Christmas

Hi My little Crafty Elves on this Christmas Eve Saturday, well I am here for my last Christmas challenge of this yr and the last Christmas card as well. This challenge over at One Stop Craft Challenge is the last one before they break for the big fella to pop down our chimneys but they will be back on the 7th of January for the new start to next yrs challenges with some fab new sponsors any way on the todays challenge which is called

and I chose this lovely image and in fact this is one of my favorite Christmas cards I have made this yr very chrismassie but very simple.

isn't this image fab I love it so easy to use, I just added loads of fine glitter to it and it looked lovely it so looks better in the flesh so to speak as it just sparkles. For the background paper I used a snowflake embossing folder and added a few gems here and there. I then matted it onto silver mirri card I know we dont use mirri card much any more but think it just need that bit of shine.

you can just about see where I put the glitter but you just dont get the feel of the bling boo hoo.

The flowers I made with the Marianne spiral flower die then added some Snow-Tex to it for that extra snowy effect fab stuff to use on cards.

The ribbon is from my stash as are the gems.

The Sentiment is from a stamp Set from Cuddly Buddly.

Merry Christmas

Hi folks hope you are having a good weekend I took Toby to see Alvin and the C

hipmunks shipwrecked he loved it I fell asleep lol never mind as long as he liked it. So onto today's card I think this is my last Christmas card for this yr

I used one of last yrs Christmas maggies and coloured her with copics

I put some glamour dust on her coat cuffs and rim of hat for that little bit of Christmasy bling. The Design paper is from a HOTP pad I had from last yr but never used.

Hi my crafty chicks kids all off for Christmas and I just have fresh food shopping to do then all done, a little bit of wrapping to do which I have been putting off because I hate it lol. I am watching Mrs Brown Boys while I am doing my post and it is the funnest comedy I have ever seen can't wait for the Christmas special on Boxing day at 10.00 anyway enough of my chatter my card for today is a fabby magnolia image and used one of my new shaped card blanks from Craft work cards.

I coloured this little maggie in the following colours

then polychromos pencils for shading in brown and sansador

The Design Paper is Magnolia and core'dinations white wash matted on to gold mirri card. I added snow-tex around the edges of the card. The flowers I made my self using 5 cream flowers which I inked with goldy yellow chalk ink folded. I then stuck them together ,then spritzed with glimmer mist and sprinkled glammour dust onto it shame the glitter doesn't show very well in the pic.

Stamp Addicts new stamps Owls and Gorilla's

Hi just popped in to show you two new Stamp sets from Stamp Addicts and they are soooo cute

The first set is Owls here are the I the cards I made

I coloured this little chap with copics.

This one I paper pieced and went for a monochromatic look.

This is the same image but I coloured her with copics and used brigher paper isnt it cool how just using a different colour scheme makes a different card.

This is a fab, hear no evil see no evil speak no evil, theme stamp I paper pieced this stamp and used owl backing paper.

The Owl set is called

The next set are cute Gorillas

For this little girl gorilla I paper pieced her.

The boy gorilla is just as cheeky I coloured him with promarkers the Bananas and big leaves are also from the stamp set, so is the sentiment.

I stamped the girl one again and coloured her with copics.

For this card I stamped the girl gorilla then masked her and stamped the boy one next to her they have both been coloured with copics.

This is the Daddy or Mummy of the set which ever you want it to be lol I stamped two different Distress inks on this image brown and green, then I water colour blended the image and then stamped the big leaves the same way I also used the leaves to make a background on the card.

The gorilla set is called your guessed it Gorillas lol and available here

So there you go they are simpler cards than I normally do but its all about the image.

Gold Cream and white Altered box

Hi all well today I have had another play and decided to change a white box that came it a storage desk pack from The range it constisted of a A4 size box a desk caddi a note box and a long pencil type box you know the type I mean I am already using all of apart from the pencil box it has been lying around empty for ages, so I decided instead of making a card I would decorate this box and here it is

I used a maggie image from one of last yrs collection sorry dont know what it is called I coloured her in copics in cream and lilac I matted the box with gold Mirri card then added some DP which is also magnolia paper I inked the boxes edges with distress ink the poinsettia shaped flowers I made myself out of a punch then ink the petals with yellow distress ink to give it a sort of gold look I added some small gold beads to the middle of the flowers I made the flowers are a mixture from my stash and mulberry crafts. I added a touch of tulle from Crafts u love in cream some cream ribbon, from the ribbon girl.

Around the box I also matted gold Mirri and DP then added some cream satin ribbon from mulberry crafts and then some cream lace from my stash I added some flowers to the sides and then some gold gems. Then some punched leaves with a Martha Stewart punch.

I had a nightmare photographing this box, its not as easy as taking a picture of a card to get a good picture and to do it justice

I tried something new

I dont have a card for you today but while I have been watching X-factor I wanted to have a play trying to colour with pencils and Kraft paper I have done 2 images one magnolia and one wee stamp I will make them into cards but just wanted to show you what I have been playing with tonight (ooh that sounds naughty) lol

so her is the first one I did one of the lovely christmas release magnolia's

This image has been coloured with polychromos pencils which are oil based pencils you can also use prisma pencils which are wax based pencils it will give the same effect.

To colour this way it is all about lots of layers, first before putting down your shadow layers I didn't use any blending solution but blended with the pencils themselves that's why you need lots of layers in order to get the shading layer to move I think this is called burnishing. I am quite happy how they turned out it did take a bit of a while to do it but that was more to do with me not really sure on what where the best colours to use as so used to colouring with copics this method is a little different.

The second image is a Wee stamp

I used pinks on this one and did the grounding a bit different

so there you go hope you like. I have used polychromo pencils before but more for adding shading to copics with a blending solution and stumps. I will make them into cards and blog them.

OSCC and Squiggle stamps challenge cards

Hi Holly Jolly crafty friends today I have 2 cards for you the first is for

Squiggle Stamps Challange and the theme is Lets Celebrate, this is the image I have used

I coloured this little lady with copics and she is called Daisy with Balloon and is available here. The Design paper have used is from Bearlymine they are digi papers and are fab quality to. the flowers are from my stash and the dies are magnolia angel wing die and Marianne's fancy doily die I added some pearl accents to the angel wing.

and then some more gems across the right hand top corner. A little lilac chalk pad for the edging of the image then layered onto white card cut with spellbinders labels 4 die

For my second card is for One Stop Craft Challenge, and the theme for this challenge is

I coloured this image with copics and as I am taking suzanne Deans class 5 I wanted to work on my colouring in gold hope it worked. the Design paper is from my stash from last yr so dont know where it is from, sorry. The red card on the top triangle of the card I edged with SnowTex and then sprayed the whole red card with crafters companion spray glitter, although you cant see it in pic it does bling honest lol.

The leaf die is from Mariannes and which I cut in green card then added snowtex to it I then dipped my roses in the snowtex to give them a nice snowy look. I then added a wooden snowflake with yes you guessed it snowtex on it.

I added some glitter to the berries on the bell and left them white. The ribbon is from my stash as is the snowflake brad. I used a Martha Stewart cherish boarder punch and then put some red ribbon on top and some gems near the end of the ribbon.

To finish off I punched out some snowflakes in red card, added some Snowtex to them and then layered with silver snowflakes plus a small gem in the middle. There you go thank you for looking at my cards and leaving comments I do appreciate it and hope you enjoy following my blog.

lili in Pink

Hi my Jolly crafty friends well here I am tonight to post another card I am blogging this while I am about to watch Vicar of Dibly you know the one where she eats about 5 Christmas dinners classic Christmas comedy love it

So on to my card today I have made a card for the lili of the valley challenge and very sadly this going to be there last challenge gutted or what I have love there challenges and won it once lucky me. But fear not the Design team is going to open another challenge blog still following the lili of the valley theme.

There challenge this week is pink Silver and white

here is my take on the theme

Sorry about the quality of the pic but like I have said before nightmare taking pics in the dark but think I have lighten this one to much. I coloured this image with copics and mounted onto pink then silver card. I added a Dotty white circle card mounted onto pink card and place it under the picture, the DP is my Mr Tim H and his shabby chic 12 x 12 paper pad.

The flowers are from mulberry crafts arrived today in fact. I sprayed with glimmer mist and sprinkled with fine glitter I also added a strip of gathered lace to the right side of card and then a string of pink tiny pearls on top.

Snow Angels in the snow

Hi my Jingly Crafters well this card is one I have had coloured since last yr how bad is that But first I need to tell you I had a good tidy out my crafty Wendy shed as I need to make room for my new marker holder that my fab crafty friend Vicky's hubby Steve has made for me they are fab I cant wait for it to arrive

isn't it just fab it is for my copics, spectrum Noir pens and promarkers if I can fit them all in hop over to her blog she is taking orders if you would like one her blog is here I cant wait to add it to my little crafty space.

I have been after something like this for ages.

Any way onto my card like I said the image I have used today is one I got last yr and I am not sure who the stamp is by but I will find out and post it

This image has been coloured with copics and glammer dust glitter has been added to the hat boots and snow although it is hard to see it. This stamp is quiet a big image and nearly filled the hole card I had just enough room to add some Christmas roses from mulberry crafts and some ribbon from my stash. The Design paper is magnolia and I added a doily that I have inked with walnut stain distress inks. I then added some a row of green gems along the bottom, the sentiment is from Cuddly Buddly.

Sugar Nellie Fairy and egg of face

Hi my crafty Christmas elves well I am back today with another card and a little tale about egg on my face lol. I was suppose to be having Virgin around today to install my new Tevo box, but NO did they turn up not on your nelly, I couldnt even go into my crafty haven to craft in case they knocked on the door, well you can image I was not a happy bunny, what a waste of a crafty day. So come 4.00pm I was on the phone and giving the fella on the other end a right earful about I don't not having time to sit about for engineers who don't bother to turn up, the very nice man on the other end of the phone then informed me that the installation date is the 7th of December tomorrow not the 6th , I then had a memory flash back my hand op was originally scheduled for the 6th of December and the Tevo the 7th well I was as mortified as I could be on the phone, lol grinch grinch. I had rung up a day early, I new something was suppose to be happening on the 6th lol oh dear, I chuckled to the fella on the other end of the phone I got the day wrong silly me, he then asked if there was any thing else he could do for me I laughed no thats ok bye now lol ping phone down grinch grinch I felt such a twit, my kids thought it was funny silly mummy derrrr!!

So I locked myself in my crafty house and made a card to recover from my embarrassment and this is what I came up with

This is another one of the images I coloured before I had my hand done boy that was a good idea to colour some images ready as this is the hardest thing for me to do at the mo is to colour. I can do it but not as I would like, it is really funny although my op was on the bottom of my hand it is my thumb I am having the most trouble with, I have difficulty unscrewing things and turning things I have no grip with it at all due to weakness and pain I know it will take time but it is very frustrating, any way waffle waffle.

I love these images from sugar nellie and to be honest I have bought quiet a few stamps over the past weeks that I have not even played with yet.

I wanted to colour this whole image in the same colours to show that it still can be effective just using 3 pens for the whole image apart from the skin colours, for this image I used copics I have been working really hard on perfecting my folds in cloths I know I am not there yet but it is getting better it is a work in progress.

The Design papers for this card are magnolia and core'dinations I distressed all the edges and sewing with white cotton on my sewing machine I then rolled the bottom right corner and inked around the edges with walnut stain distress inks the flowers are from Mulberry crafts which I also inked with walnut stain and spritzed with glimmer mist and sprinkled with glammour dust although it is hard to see the bling in the pic.

I added a sprig of gold stemmed spray beads and a cream ribbon in seam binding, then punched a 3 sprigs of fine vines with a punch and inked them. To finish I made a scrolled out of matching DpP on which I will add a sentiment I haven't added it yet as not sure what sort of card this will be lol.

Christmas Magnolia

Hi crafty chicks hope your preperations for the festive season are going ok. I went to watch my Toby's school play tonight called Hozanna Rock he played a donkey in the stable where baby Jesus was born, well we can't all be Joesph lol, he did very well and sang his little heart out bless him, we got him sauage and chips from the chippie after and he was allowed to eat it in bed watch a video so he was one happy bunny lol bless.

I am sat here posting this in bed watching a re-run of Christmas with the Royle Family, makes our family Christmases look normal but very funny, I am hoping the Christmas spirit is going to kick in but not yet.

Anyway onto my card for tonight I am having to post so late because it is taking a bit longer to make my cards due to my hand still healing and I had a big commission to do that needed to be posted, so had to get it done. I finished it today so will post it off tomorrow but wanted to make a card just because I fancied it, so wanted to blog it before I went to sleep, might find a christmasey film to fall asleep to like Muppets Christmas Carol or National Lampoons Christmas Vacantion, or maybe something else lol anyway I digress, the card I have made tonight it the image I used for the picture tutorial I did on my tuts page for colouring in reds I have finally ' used it to make a card, to be honest I am not sure about how it turned out it wasnt quite how I had it picture in my mind it sort of fell together I am always a bit skeptical when I make a card this way I normally have an idea in my head. Do you know I go to sleep some times with card layouts in my head and ideas floating around does that make me a true addicted crafter maybe I need therapy.

For this card I used one of the new Maggies from this Christmases collection I coloured her with copics and the Design paper is also from Magnolia I distressed the edge and mounted onto some red card, then stitched round with white cotton. I then ran a piece of Kraft paper through my crimper and added some Snowflex and some stickles around the edge. All the snowflakes have also been die cut with Marianne dies and Snowflex and stickles added. I added a string of hanging beads on top of the crimped paper but its a bit hard to see them in the picture.

I added a string of diamonte's to the top left corner and a star charm to the sentiment which is from Whimsy Stamps I love the matching dies and sentiments they do they are fab, the flowers are from Mulberry Crafts and the ribbon is from Bee Habby.

Here are some cards I made for Stamp Addicts and there new Ballerina Stamps available here

My first Card

These card are very simple, to show case the stamps,

I used black embossing powder on this card and a black and white theme punched out with a spellbinders nesties and some glitter garland ribbon from my stash.

I used Gold embossing powder on this card and made a round scolloped easel card.

with some gold ribbon from my stash and sentiments from the stamp plate.

with this card I stamped pink distress inks and then masked the dress and sprayed with spray and sparkle although it is hard to see the sparkle it is there the flowers and leaves are punches and the die is a marianne die. The ribbon is from my stash the sentiment is from the stamp plate.

for this card I used silver embossing powder and lots of lace to give a vintage look with the grey lacy paper

the feather ribbon and sentiment is from my stash.

for this card I used a blending tool with lots of distress inks and glimmer mist to make my own background on the card I used the sentiment stamp as part of the background, the ribbon is from my stash.

Teddy Bea Dancying on ice

Hi folks today I decided to play with a Teddy Bea image I wanted to have a white on white theme but ended up with a ice blue on white theme instead but quite like the look of it shame the photo doesnt show up the bling of the ice glitter card I used but hey hope you like it.

the picture looks like pastel green but it is in fact and icy pale blue colour it is a nightmare to take descent pics at the moment grrr! I coloured this fab image with my copics and used mostly N greys and a touch of B000 B00 B04 I wanted the outfit to have a white look about it but didn't want it to look flat.

Design paper is Bearly Mine, Core'dinations, glitter paper in ice blue

Hi all happy Monday folks, I know its a bit late in the day but just wanted to get this card posted, to be honest I am not sure about this card I wanted to use not traditional colours which I did but I went a bit mad with the bling on it not that is shows up much on the card and the pic I took makes it look orange when in fact is a soft peach but hey here it is.

I coloured this with copics and polychromos pencils blended with sansador, the DP is from Bearlymine I used my new EK Success down the side of the mounted image I have tried to make the flower that it is suppose to make but failed need more practice but decided to use it anyway I added peach stickles to the end not sure about the effect but once it was on couldnt take it off so left it I then added on the a fine string of pastel peach pearls.

I love this image and would love to have a hat and coat like hers but dont think I would look as cute lol.

The poinsettias are marianne dies punched in the same DP as the card and so is the mistletoe die I then added stickles to them and a peach rose with bling on it. To the centres of the poinsettias I added a peach pearl.

Down the right side of the card although it is a bit hard to see them as they are clear glittery gems.

Hi alI here is another card for you I made this card with the Colour me Creative challenge in mind different hair Colours so punky looking hair

I used fabby wee stamp called Heidi

She is very cute and you guessed it in pink lol I have coloured the image with Copics and mounted the image onto one of my new Marianne creatables dies I got from Cuddly Buddly. The disign papers are from a combo of nitwits papers and Bearlymine papers The ribbon is from Hobby Craft and the lacy ribbon flower I got from Paper Arts craft shop it comes in a long strip and is lush.

I love the colouring combo of pink, or blue with a creamy brown its my fave colours

A Magnolia Christmas

Hi all happy Sunday Crafter's today I have decided to make up one of my magnolia christmas images I coloured before I had my hand done I did quite a bit of colouring before just in case lol so here it is.

For this card I used one of the fab new magnolia stamps I got from Sparkle Dreams, I colour'ed her with my copics in green colours don't normally do such a bright green but wanted to give it a go. I cut her out with a round nestie and mounted onto a scolloped nestie in light green core'dinations whitewash. To be honest this picture doesn't to this card justice it looks so much better in the flesh, but had to take photo with my ott lights they are fab but my craft house is painted all pink so always gives my cards a pink hue, which I have to try and get rid of.

The snowflake I cut out with a nestie die ironworks in Kraft paper it was a bit of a play as I then painted it with picket fence crackle paint but think I put to much on I put a second coat of clear crackle paint and added a very fine sprinkle of glitter but it just doesn't show the effect well in the picture boo hoo I did the same for the magnolia die leaves, I did to but put a little less paint on it will have to keep playing I am waiting for my Snowtex to get here then might get a better result. I wanted them to have a snowy look.

I love this image if I had a little girl she would have had long hair like this, don't think any of my 5 boys would like to grow their's just so I can play with it lol just not going to happen.

I stitched all around the card and used magnolia Design papers I folded the top left corner and added a pearl brad attatched to a charm I also added a little stickles to the corner of the card and 3 pearl studs. The flowers are from my stash which I sprayed with glimmer mist and glammour dust. I added the magnolia die leaves and a pearl spray the any way there you go hope you like.

Mash up number two as you can see the snowflake very disappointingly looks like it just been cut out of white paper lol it would have been much quicker if I had but never mind.

Hi folks happy Saturday to you all, here is a card I made yesterday just because I fancied it. I got this image amongst some others lol, I bought from funky Kits to be honest I wasn't sure how I was going to colour this image, as I have never coloured a digi image like this before with so much shading done on it, but hey I gave it a go.

Quite please how it turned out in the end

I used copics to colour her in greyish plum colours

dress : V91, V93, V 95, V99

Skin : E000, E00, E11

Hait : E25, E31, E50

I also used a dark purple and dark brown polychromos pencil blending with sansador

the DP's are a combo of bits from my scrap box and a new sheet of magnolia paper. I sewed all around the edges with zigzag stitching on my sewing machine in white cotton.

One Stop Craft Challenge Christmas Fairys and my recovery spends

Hi all I wasn't sure if I would be well enough to make my challenge cards this week so have decided to take it easy and ease my hand back into it lol I don't like not being able to craft, I did make up for it and had a little shopping spree like I said I would pictures at bottom of post of my recovery spending lol.

But first my challenge card for this week over at,

One Stitch At A Time and here is my card using a Christmas Fairy image provided for us to use she is fab

I have coloured her with Spetrum Noir pens (badly I am afraid) it will improve as my hand improves. I glittered her wings and hat with fine glammor dust. The flowers I made out of the new mariannes craftables dies which was one of my spends they are gorg I inked them with Distress inks one of the limited addition colours winter another of my spends lol. I spritzed them with diamond glimmer mist and scrunched them, added a diamond brad to the middle. The leaves are a punch cant remember the name will add.

The Design paper is new from Nitwits available here it is called Holiday Charm too and is it stunning love it the smaller flowers are from my stash.

The Senitment is from Cuddly Buddly available here and I inked this with the same winter distress inks

So to end I just wanted to put on here my crafty buys as compensation to all the pain and suffering I have endured this past two weeks lol

I got two wee stamps and 4 of the new sugar nellie stamps

new marianne craftables dies I used the round one for the top card and the flowers are the ones in the middle they are so nice, I also bought 4 of the new lili of the valley stamps my fav ones (well they are all my fav but was being good)not!

two 12x12 pads of core'dinations white wash and core amour which is stunning

and to finish off a one of the new flower mariannes dies and whimsey stamps dies with matching stamps.

I also bought some digi images from Sugar nellie

and one of the new fab dimensional flower punches from EK success not shown as it arrived today so not had chance to take pic but when I make the flower I will show you I am going to have a go in a mo.

so there you go not bad compensation wouldn't you say for having an op he! he! but if you think I need an excuse to crafty spend then you don't know me lol

Hi all card and quick update

Hi all just wanted to do a post to let you know how things are since my little op, well I will say I was a nervous wreck, when I went in, if I had been put to sleep, I would of been fine but knowing I was letting someone cut me while I just laid there my brain was screaming this is just all wrong. I know drama queen you say, it was in fact pain free the injections to numb my hand was the worse bit. I was shaking like a leaf when they had finished and I was very embarrassed because I started crying when it was over just out of the sheer relief of the anticipation of it. I felt so bad when they put me next to some poor women who was going in after me, not good move the look on her face, that just made me worse as I was trying so hard to control myself if just made me worse lol I was mortified I was such a wimp. Anyway once home and I had recovered myself lol my hand has healed nicely I had my stitches taken out yesterday worked myself up for that to, but was a doddle lol. So my fingers are fine but my thumb is still sore and making it difficult to grip but I am sure it will get better I am having the left one done but not till after Christmas thank god lol. At least I know what to expect The next time.

Right so on to my card this is one I made before I had my hand done and it is for the new digi release from Karen Middleton and this little chap is so cute and is called little star

I love this little gem, I used copics to colour and she was lovely to colour the backing paper is from Cuddly buddly and available here called A portfolio of papers Brown. I mounted the digi paper onto brown core'dinations whitewash and then stitched around the edges with brown cotton in my sewing machineThe flowers I made with a scollop punch, inked the edges with walnut stain and then spritzed with gold glimmer mist and added a smaller punched flower in the middle in the brown pattern paper, I also added two smaller buds to either side of the big flower. I used a Marianne die for behind the image and a scollop spellbinder to cut out the image.

Hi happy Saturday to you all, as I can't make a card at the moment I have decided to show you some images that I had already coloured and photographed just havent made them up yet, I like to sit in bed watch tv with a glass of vino and some nibbles and colour lol it my idea of a good night think maybe I need to get out more. Anyway I didnt want my blog to get boring with out some new posts so the best way I thought was to as least show some images that will be made into cards when my hand is better.

So for my first one I coloured this fab Sugar Nellie image these are some of my fav stamps at the moment I will try to add what colours I used but wont be able to remember them all as some images I have had coloured for a while.

I coloured her with pro-makers and copics

Skin - copics E13, E11 E00

Dress and wings - ivory, Blossom, Fascia Pink and a tiny bit of mulberry for the darkest areas

Hair - cocoa, caramel, sandstone

The rabbit - I used copics c5, c3, c0

I love using the ivory and two other colours mix it gives such a fab effect cant wait to make her into a card with maybe lots of cream and lilac flowers what do you think

Cuddly Buddly challenge Double trouble

Hi folks hopefully if you are reading this it has worked as I have scheduled it, any way on to this weeks challenge card over at Cuddly Buddly and this week the theme is Double trouble, so we want to see two characters on your card not to hard here is my card for the challenge

I used the fabby Decoupage sheet Called Joy Teddies available here and the design digital papers are also from Cuddly Buddly available here

bit hard to see this but have decoupaged the image and these teddies are so cute

the card is very simple, I used core'dinations whitewash which is my fav I distressed the edges and added some pearl gems to the corners of the image. I used a Martha Stewart boarder punch and added a boarder strip from the design sheet on top and a little flower to right had corner. The sentiment is also from the design sheet. So there we go folks last card for a while, boo hoo.

Out of action having op

Hi folks I just wanted to let you know I will not be about for a while just in case anyone misses me, I am having an op on my Carpal Tunnel and will be out of action for a while. I have informed my DT and have schedule Cuddly Buddlys DT card for this Friday as I have already done this, but after that I wont be available. I will be having withdrawal Symptoms by the time I am able to use my hand again it is my right hand they are doing first so will have to makeup for it by having a craft spend on goodies to use after. I will try to type left handed and give update. Doc says between 2 to 6 weeks for recovery hope it is the 2 week option I am bit anemic to but that is been sorted

new Karen Middleton Release

Hi happy Sunday and welcome to a new release of Karen Middltons new release of the very cute Christmas cuties. I used posing Snowbuddy available here and they are mega cute.

I colored this little chap with copics and then blinged him up with some glamour dust, The Design papers are from Karen Middleton and are available here. I used Core-dinations and sewed with my sewing machine a zig zag all the way round and distressed the egdes. the flower is from magnolia die and the leafy sprig is a Marinanne die I curled the left had corner and added a sentiment from Cuddly Buddly to it. To finish of I added some gorg green gems to the middle of the flowers.

Hi my crafty followers sorry for not post much this week but been really busy in one way or another.

so this week over at One Stop Craft Challenge the theme is :

For my card I chose 3 snowflakes 3 gems 3 ho ho ho's and 3 Design papers

for this card the image I used is from Marianne's stamps which is so cute the design papers are for Bearly Mine Design digi papers called Christmas wishes and are available here and it is lush, I used a mixture of the brown and blue to match my colour scheme on my image which I coloured with my copics.

I cut out some snowflakes with a mariannes die and covered them with fine glitter for that extra bling.

The ribbon is from my stash as are the gems and flower.

Today I have Challenge cards for you The first is for Cuddly Buddly and the theme has been chosen by meeeeee

and it is my favourate card theme White on White I love this type of card is so simple but very effective.

I used this really cute image from Bits of Ivory over at cuddly buddly available here it is a fab selection of different seasons that are very cute.

The card blank I scored with my hoogie board by the edge and then used a dotty embossing folder on the edge to I then added a matt layer of white paper with the patchwork embossing folder these are two of my fav.

I chose the snowman of the sheet he is so cute I added a tag from the sheet to and some flowers from my stash, the ribbon I have had for ages I wrapped a wired little gem flowers around the bow

The sentiment is also from Cuddly Buddly

Two new Karen Middleton Cards new christmas releases

Hi folks hope you have missed me our fabby Aussie rellies are in smoggy london at the mo and we had a great time with them I miss them already, also I seem to be being dogged by this horrible cold not sure how to get rid of it grrrr!!!.

Any way on to my cards for today are two gorg images from the amazing Karen Middleton over at Cuddly Buddly the first image I used is called Hello Robin available here

This santa is very traditional and I love him he is so cute with the little robin in his hand, I colored him with copics and used white and red card stock embossed with dotty embossing folder and edged with red cotton on my sewing machine. The die is a marianne die lamp post I cut it out with matching red cardstock.

The sentiment is also from cuddlybuddly and available here.

My Second card is also a Karen Middleton image called Christmas heart and is available here it is a beautiful heart digi.

I coloured this image with copics and then added some snow white flowerssoft to the pom poms and some gems around they heart in blue and auraborialis gems or how ever you spell it lol.

The design paper is digi paper from cuddly buddlys Karen Middleton available here. The border punch is from martha Stewart called cherish one of my fav. I stitched around the DP with glittery thread from my stash, the flowers and ribbon are also from my stash. The sentiment is from cuddlybuddly available here. We went to Avebury, Stone henge, Salisbury Cathedral A very english tea house jam and scones yummy and ate lots, Grey hound racing which I won loads lol go me lol I hope you dont mind me sharing it with my crafty friends not very crafty but it was a fab week.

we are so lucky in England to have such fab history I was ashamed to admit that this was the first time I had been to Stonehenge lol

it was very interesting

it looked very wet but although windy it was a great sunny day

My cards for this week will all be scheduled as we have visitors from Australia this week so wont be about as will be showing them Sunny England well my part of it anyway.

So on to my first card for today

For this card I used onew of the Sugar Nellie images called Tatiana she is soo cute

I decided to do a lilac theme card as I seem to be doing a lot of pink lately. The DP is from a kit I bought from QVC a couple of yrs ago but never used it you know how it is well I found it today so decided to used it as it fitted the images colour's lovely.

I coloured her with my copics and then cut her out, I will admit that I had to cut her out because I dropped one off my copics onto the paper I was using grrr, but thats the great thing about crafting, I call them happy accidents lol as they can always be fixed one way or another.

I used my fabby new Whimsy Stamps die banners I loooove them sooo much I attatched them with lilac bakers twine then popped a little gem in-between each banner. I also used the whimsy stamps vine die.

I did stitching with my sewing machine around the image and the oval the image is on which is also from the same kit I got the DP from. it is an embossed die cut frame very pretty so I just stitched it to my matted DP

but just wanted to show you it I love these stamps they are cute fairy's with skinny long legs lol very cool

My 50th Birthday Candy

Cuddly Buddly Challenge Anything but a Card

Hi crafters happy Friday I have had a bit of a week of it this week just for a change lol my laptop decided to play up and wouldn't recharge cost me £45 quid to solder two bleep bleep wires together just think of the craft I could have spent with that, but I so needed my laptop all my crafty stuff is on it. So had to be done.

Anyway onto my challenge project this week for CuddlyBuddly this week the challenge theme is

Anything but a card

I decided that due to getting over a cold I would use the fab Toby Tumble for Pachela Studios the 3d decoupage sheet I used is called get well soon and is available here I also used some digi paper from Cuddlybuddly and Pachela Studios available here and is called Toby Tumble hearts and flowers

here is what I made isn't it cute great for a pressie for someone not feeling to good, that's how I was snuggled up in bed doesn't Toby look as snug as a bug in a rug, I will add a tutorial for this box in the next couple of weeks I have just got my new tutorial blog up and running so will be adding more.

the flowers are from my stash and the leaf punch is a new one cant for the life of me remember who by for the moment but will add.

the lace is also from my stash and the tissue pk is from any local supermarket but make sure you get the one with the balm in it so you dont get a red nose like I did

bless just how I felt but he looks more cute than me I just look rough lol.

CuddlyBuddly New release from Karen Middleton Christmas Ladies

Today I have 2 cards from the new release from Karen Middleton and some fab news from Cuddly Buddly.

The first Card I made for the new release is a fab image called Poinsettia and available here.

for this image I coloured with Copics and then added some purple fine glitter for a change to make her more festive I am not sure I would do it again in the purple it worked better for the next card lol.

My second card for today this card I have made just because I wanted to I am trying to improve my blending in darker coloures so worked really hard on this image took my time and I am quiet happy with the result it is quiet hard to colour in darker colours darker blues and reds are two of the hardest to colour well for me anyway lol.

so here is the card

I really enjoyed making this card not that I dont enjoy making all my cards but there was no pressure no challenge to do it for no release I just haddddd Funnnn loved it great therypy for my nasty cold that is now getting better I got my new banner dies for Whimsy Stamps oh my God @I am in love lol.

They are fab love love love love love them do you get the picture and I used my new whimsy stamps vines to love love love would it be sad if I slept with them under my pillow lol.

I distressed all the edges did a bit of curly and riping for a distress shabby look

This is such a cute image love her to bits to a lot of love in this post lol

Happy Saturday Crafters here we are again for another challenge over at One Stop Craft Challenge

I coloured the image with promarkers and them cut it out with a nellie die

the net flowers I made my self with some material I got from our local scrap store for free if you have a local one check it out they are fab for different textiles for cards you have to have a bit of a dig though.

Truly Scrumptions Challenge Distressing

Hi all, well today we have another new challenge over at Truly Scrumptious and the theme this week has been picked by my fabby team mate Fleur and we are sponsered by

For this challenge I have not done a card but decide to make a gift box

I made this heart shape box using a glittergirls template I have had for ages but not used so decided to fish it out and give it a go. Once I had cut the basic shape out I distress all the edges then added Distress ink walnut stain to all the sides of the box, top and bottom the DP is from Nitwits distress them to then added to box shape it is a bit hard to see the distressing as I added some gathered lace the the lid of the box.

The image is a Teddy bo and she is soooo cute

Hi Happy Monday Crafters well after spending the whole of the lovely weekend in bed with a cold I have have red nose to match the theme of this release Christmas dress up from Sam Salt of lilyboo designs, for todays card I used Dress up Elf available here and the christmas tree windon availalbe here

So for this card I didnt use any Desing paper but my fav snowflake embossing folder

then I used different coloured stickles on the tree although it is not very clear in the pic but it is there.

Red it the hardest colour to do with copics I think I need to practice a bit more it didnt turn out as well as I would have liked but due to being ill could redo but thats me being picky lol

to finish I added some of the new marianne dies and some red and white ribbon

Hi happy Sunday Crafters

today I am bringing you a Card from the fabby artist Sam Salt over at Cuddly Buddly

who has come up with some great new digis in a cute dress up range of characters

I had 3 images to play with and here is the first one I will show you today

This is in fact two digi images that I put together the first is call Dress up Reindeer and available here the second is Santa's Sleigh and availalbe here I think they just went great together there is a little elf one that would also go fine with the sleigh.

I coloured this card with spectruim Noir pens and polychromos pencils blended with sansador

I cut out the reindeer image and layered her onto the sleigh with some silicone clue.

I received my new swirly spellbinders this week so couldn't wait to use them.

A little bit of Sewing

My card of today is an image I bought a couple of weeks ago it is a fab image,, I have had her coloured for a while but was'nt ready to make a card but to day I fancied using her she is

From Saturated Canary Digis by Krista Smith

I bought 4 digis at the time and they are lush.

I also wanted to do some Sewing on my card because I havent for a while and well just fancied a play with the sewing machine. I will add I must have wasted about an hr trying to get the tension right but got there in the end

she is lovely to colour I used Spectrum Noir Pens and polychromos pencils then blended with sansador
I added some white freckles but in hindsight maybe shouldn't have lol. I stiched around with white cotton in zigzag on my machine and they added some flowers and some swirls.

I used my poly pencils to go around her then blended them to give a blue background for the sky and brown for the floor this helps the image not to look so flat on white

I used one of my new spellbinders I got last week for the white circle under the top flower
it was great instead of having to cut up a doily as it is very lacy looking

I added my flowers to the top of a marianne flower die
