I love this 6x6 digital paper as it is fab for card, I usually do 6x6 cards so just right, I printed of two sheets one for the front one for the back I cut out a banner with the remaining paper distressed them and edged with vintage photo. I added lace to the back of the tag and made a charm to dangle from the top
Then I added a sentiment and some frantage around the sentiment. Then to finish of some flowers

Recipe for Tag

Magnolia Happy Birthday to you Card

Hi folks well we are nearly there soon will be Christmas day
and I still have wrapping to do lol so instead I played with my distress pens
I used one of my magnolia stamps which I haven't used in a while and made a non Christmas card

So like I said I used my distress inks for this stamp I have been practicing with my distress colouring and although I feel I am getting better I did mess the chin up a bit for some reason it wouldn't blend I have now changed the paper I used which was the Tim holtz water colour paper to Langton hot press smooth water colour paper and it is working smoother for me

so my crafty recipe for this card is as follows
Design papers .... My minds eye Be Happy 6x6 pad
Card stock ...... Kraft card
water colour paper......Tim Holts
colouring medium.... Distress pens
Die.....Memory box flower boarder die
pearls....... White Kaisercraft

Shabby Chic Altered Paint Brush

Hi peeps well I have for you today this Altered Paintbrush
I Altered this when I went on my crafty break it was a project I was suppose to do before I went but decided to take some of the projects I wanted to either start or complete on my getaway

This is the only pic of it at the moment and when I get some good light I will take some more
so I did a lot of painting and crackling of the paintbrush before I was happy with it.
I painted it with white gesso then mode podge then black paint then I added more white and then crackle it it works better with pva but didnt have any with me after I then added some frantage embossing powder all of the handle to give a very worn look.

For the bristles I added gesso again but loads of it once it was dry I then used some pink spritz sprays and then added small gems all over the painted bristles.
For the handle it was a case of adding lots of shabby flowers and lace with lots of bling and lace trim I then made a stick pin to match with a dangle as well I love how this turned out I hope you like it to

I will add more pics

Make it crafty digital image

Today I have a fab card using an image from Make it Crafty
I love these Digital images they are so fab to colour
I used copics on this image and then added stickles to the bodice and trim of the dress you can't see it very well but it has a lovely bling to the dress

The DP is from prima and the flowers are from wild orchid crafts as are the leaves
the rest of the embellies are from my stash

On the face of this image my E11 Copic pen was contaminated by something you might find that this happens mostly I must to the the E numbers it did ruin my face a little but only because I notice it more if is very annoying and I was not a happy bunny it is handy to have spare nibs for the copics to replace contaminated nibs try to keep the end of your pens clean you can clean them with a cotton bud and some copic blending solution its just something to note if you are getting this happen when you are trying to blend
Hope this helps if you are having the same problem

hugs Wendy
